11/2/2025 0 Comments Finding My Way Back to MusicThere’s something magical about returning to a path you once walked — only this time, with more wisdom, gratitude, and determination.
Before COVID, I had a brief taste of life as a full-time musician. It was exhilarating — the sense of freedom, the motivation to push myself, the feeling that what you put in is exactly what you get out. I remember waking up each day with purpose and excitement, knowing that music was the driving force behind it all. Now, years later, I’m feeling that same spark again — maybe even stronger this time. Over the past month, I’ve taken the leap back into being a full-time musician, and I can honestly say it feels like I’m rediscovering my true self. A huge part of this transition has been thanks to finding a booking agent who believes in what I do and provides me with enough midweek gigs to make this dream sustainable. And I can’t talk about this journey without giving a massive thank you to Katie O’Briens, who’ve offered me so much work and support along the way. Their belief in me has opened doors that are allowing this next chapter to happen. One of the things I’m most excited about is having more time to get back out and busk — to connect with new faces, discover new places, and keep the adventure alive. There’s something so grounding about playing on the street — no stage lights, no production, just raw connection through music. To everyone who’s supported me, come to shows, dropped a kind word, or simply believed in me — thank you. You’ve all played a part in helping me find my way back to music, and for that, I’m forever grateful.

3/1/2025 0 Comments Finding InspirationThis will be a short post. I just wanted to share with you some photo's and touch on the concept of Inspiration. Now as a musician, or should I say as a song writer it's pretty much essential to keep a flow of inspiration. I do, however have a pretty normal life with all the normal routines and responsibilities which tend to be pretty similar all the time. This usually leads to Anti-inspiration. I find if I don't write frequently enough, I feel I might stop finding inspiration to write. You can be inspired by so many things. The key is in how you look/listen/feel. Perspective is the key to unlocking inspiration. I started focusing much more on gratitude and awareness of the present moment. Appreciating the moment can totally change things. The sky recently has been amazing. I have made sure, no matter what. If I see something beautiful or magnificent and I can safely do so, I will take a photo. This is then in the bank for when I do feel under-inspired. Here's just a few I've taken recently. Sometimes its not even what the picture is of, but the feeling you felt as you were taking it. This really helps me to evoke emotion and feeling to get me into the right frame of mind to write something new.
